Bring
your family and friends to the waterfront to celebrate the Fourth.
Not only will you have the best view in town of the San Diego Bay
fireworks, the proceeds from this event will benefit programs at the
Maritime Museum of San Diego.
Saturday, 7:00 p.m. 'till 9:30 p.m. Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. (in
front of the ferryboat Berkeley) Maritime Museum of San Diego (1492 N.
Harbor Drive)
Your
ticket includes all of the following:
- One of the best views of the multiple fireworks
displays on San Diego Bay. Pick your favorite ship, find a spot you
like and enjoy a great show;
- Tap your feet to the sounds of the One-Man-Band,
Ira Cobb;
- Enjoy a picnic supper of BBQ shredded pork, hot
dogs, bratwurst, potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, corn-on-the-cob,
watermelon and desserts (by San Diego Catering Company);
- Entrance to the oldest active sailing ship in
the world, the Star of India - A chance to explore the HMS Surprise,
a B-39 Russian submarine and the elegant steam yacht Medea - Enjoy
your dinner surrounded by beautiful stained glass windows on the steam
ferry Berkeley;
- Photo op with "Abe Lincoln" and/or a
Maritime Museum Pirate (so, bring your camera). Reservation/ticket
purchase must be received before June 30, 2009. |
