West Basin Anchorage
There is an anchorage available in the West Basin. Boats are welcome for anchorage stays of no more than 5 days in a 30 day period as listed in the Codified Ordinances of Orange County and it is enforced. Thanks to Sgt. John Whitman for the correct information. But remember, boats should not be left for long periods unattended. There is a drift current and the Harbor Patrol checks on the length of your stay ashore and may let you know you've been gone too long!
East Basin Anchorage
There is also an anchorage available in the East Turning Basin between the fuel dock and the bait barge. Again, boats are welcome for 5 days but should not be left for long periods unattended. There is a drift current and the Harbor Patrol checks on the length of your stay ashore and may let you know you've been gone too long!
